Kurzfassung
Experimental determination of thermal effects in NC grinding of free formed surfaces using toroid grinding wheels are described in this paper. NC grinding can be used to produce free formed workpiece surfaces. The temperatures are measured with thermocouples in the workpiece and a thermographic camera. The temperature dependencies of the process parameters are shown as well and furthermore the measurement methods are compared with each other. In the second part the implementation of the temperatures in the simulation is described.
